SUMMER SKIN CARE TIPS

Follow these tips to keep your skin looking bright and healthy this summer:

1. EXERCISE: Start each morning with a few minutes of cardiovascular exercise. Open the windows, then run around the room for 3-5 minutes. Exercise increases blood flow,
so you will notice rapid improvement in skin tone and color. Exercise also increases nutrient supply and toxin removal from cells, hence improving the overall skin condition.

2. BEAUTY SLEEP: Get adequate sleep to help rejuvenate tissues, including
the skin.

TALK TO YOUR KIDS ABOUT SEXUALITY

Remember that sex education does not increase sexual activity. Your kids are hearing about sex at school, through the media, the Internet or friends but research suggests that they also want support and information from their parents. Unfortunately, teens often anticipate parental disapproval and are afraid to raise the subject. Talk to your kids before they get to those awkward years and help them make responsible decisions!

START A FAMILY & KEEP
YOUR CAREER !

Pregnant women may experi-
ence physical symptoms, and it may be difficult to keep up with the demands of both a career
and a home. Remember that a
maternal leave will likely not jeopardize your career as much
as not paying attention to the job for a year prior! So, get advice from a doctor on how
to manage mood swings and how to stay fit and healthy.
And remember that others
have been there before you!

BACK PAIN RELIEF

Lie on your back on the floor
with pillows under your knees
or with your hips and knees
bent and your feet on a chair.
This takes the pressure and weight off your back. You may need one to two days of
this sort of rest but don't go overboard. Resting longer than this can cause your muscles to weaken, which can slow your recovery.
